What is the MCF introductory offer?

MCF service will begin in India with an introductory offer, where you can ship up to 150 units per month at Zero MCF fee. However, inbound related fees including FBA pickup service fees, label / prep by Amazon fees, storage fees, and removal fees are still applicable as per existing FBA rates.

What are the requirements to participate in the MCF introductory offer?

In order to participate in MCF, you would need:

An active Amazon Seller Central account.
Inventory as part of Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA).
A live offer for your FBA listings on Amazon.in.

What is the MCF introductory period?

MCF introductory period will last till 31st July 2023.

What are the other features available as part of the MCF during the introductory offer?

MCF program will offer you the below features as part of the introductory offer:

Shipping speed: You can offer Standard shipping speed, where Amazon will take 2 business days for shipping, and 3-5 days as delivery.
Unit limit: You can place orders for up-to 150 units per month, post which your MCF service will paused until the next month where the limit is refreshed.
Payment methods: You can place MCF orders only where the customer has already pre-paid for their orders. MCF will not be able to collect cash on delivery or provide any other payment mechanism to the customer at the time of delivery.
Customer invoice: You are not required to generate invoices for MCF orders, as Amazon on your behalf will generate, and deliver invoices to your customers.
Customer service: You are required to handle all customer returns and customer queries as per your own website policies, or policies applicable as per your sales channel.

Why is there a unit limit as part of the introductory offer?

MCF is being introduced in India in phases, where Amazon incrementally provides feature enhancements based on seller feedback and other key factors. To enable our teams to observe and collect critical feedback, we are introducing an opportunity to our participating sellers to try MCF at Zero fulfilment fees, with a limit of 150 units/month.

What happens if I reach my unit limit for the month?

Once you reach the maximum unit limit, your MCF service will be paused until the start of the next month.

How will I be charged post the introductory period?

Post the introductory period, Amazon will charge MCF fulfillment fee based on a separate rate card. Amazon will be communicating the rate card through Seller Central, to all our sellers once the same is finalized.

How will my unit limit be counted?

Amazon will count all units which are shipped as part of the MCF orders. Amazon will count units against your limit if Any MCF order is:

Shipped and delivered successfully to the customer,
Shipped but remained undelivered, or
rejected by the customer when the delivery is attempted by Amazon, as Amazon incurs cost on picking, packing and shipping your units.

Will the units on my cancelled orders be counted for my unit limit?

If the orders are cancelled prior to dispatch, the units will not be counted against your limit. However, the units which are dispatched are going to be counted against your limit as Amazon incurs cost on picking, packing and shipping your units.
