How to add colour/ size variations to your listings?

Before adding variations to your listing, it's important to add a listing of your products on the SmartBiz app. If you're looking for information on how to add your product listing on the SmartBiz app, you can check out our guide here.
On SmartBiz, you can add size and colour variants to your product listings. This will allow your customers to seamlessly browse products and their variants on your website.

How to add variations to your product listing?
After you add your listing on the SmartBiz app, you can add variations of your product on the SmartBiz app as well. To add variants to an existing product in your catalog, follow the steps mentioned below.
- Go to 'Calalog' and click on the product for which you wish to add variants.
- Click on the 'add variant' button inside the product listing page.
- Next, select the colour and add the size of your product variant, as required. We recommend keeping this as accurate as possible to ensure customer trust.
Tip: Feel free to add a size chart as one of the product images to ensure there is no confusion among customers on the sizes. - Upload the right images for your variant. If you do not upload any image, the default image will be that of the first product uploaded. If you need some tips on how to take good product images, we've got you covered. - You can also update the MRP and selling price for the variant and click 'Add Variant'. You have successfully added a new variant.
In order to add variants to a new product, click on 'Add Product' under 'Catalog' and update product attributes such as image, product name, description etc. Read the article on How do I list products on Smartbiz for more details. Next, click on 'Add Variants' and follow the same process to add a variant as mentioned in the steps above.
How to edit/delete my variants?
In order to make changes to an already existing variant
- Go to 'Calalog' and click on the product for which you wish to edit the variant.
- Click on 'Edit & Manage your variants'.
- To delete a variant, click on the delete icon and 'Confirm'.
- To edit the variant, click on the variant and make your changes. Click 'Save Variant' once done.
How will customers view product variants on my website?
Once you have added variations, customers will be able to browse different variants of the parent product by selecting the required size or color attribute on your product detail page.
